Designed to highlight the beauty of local Australian materials.
Boowambillee [booh-uhm-'bil-ee] is the name in language for shark island, The top shape resembles the unique forms of Sydney Harbour and its windswept sandstone cliffs and islands. Sandstone is endemic to the Sydney region and has shaped the landscape and forms of Sydney, specifically the harbor. These tables pay tribute to the unique material and forms of the region.

The brief for this project was to design a set of nesting coffee tables that highlighted the unique qualities of local Australian materials. Whilst being fully survivable by the user with a single Allen key.
